SWIM CAMPS

Koper is Slovenia’s largest coastal city, yet still compact enough to walk from one side to the other. Its medieval old town is filled with charming shops, bars and restaurants. The city has around 25,000 inhabitants and also offers lovely urban beaches right in the centre.

Thanks to its location close to the Italian border, both Slovene and Italian are spoken in Koper, giving the city a unique and vibrant cultural mix.

Surrounding the city, you’ll find plenty of olive groves and vineyards, so make sure to try the local wines and olive oils during your stay. Koper is also conveniently located just a two-hour drive from Venice Airport.

HOTEL

Accommodation is provided at the 3-star Hotel Aquapark Žusterna, located about a 10-minute walk from central Koper. The hotel rooms feature a French balcony, satellite TV, a minibar and a private bathroom with shower and toilet.

The hotel also offers a full spa area with both indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, gym and a Turkish bath. Additional facilities include a billiard table, playground and a games room — giving your group plenty of options for relaxation and leisure during the training camp.

All meals are served in the hotel’s restaurant, which offers good and reliable dining throughout your training camp. The hotel is also located just 20 metres from Koper’s local beach. Next to the hotel, you’ll find a very popular restaurant and bar known for its excellent sandwiches and meat dishes — a great option for groups looking to enjoy local flavours.

TRAINING

Training takes place just 20 metres from the hotel, directly across the street. The swimming facility is located right by the sea, allowing you to feel the ocean breeze during your sessions. The pool you will be using throughout your training camp is a 50-metre pool, offering excellent conditions for focused and effective swim training.
